He said the entire team had worked hard to create a film with a fresh concept. Although the makers had initially planned to release the film on the 30th of the month, they decided to bring it to theatres on November 13, respecting senior actors and their release schedules. Director Srinath Chandrasekhar explained that the film revolves around four youngsters from a village who decide to prove themselves when everyone around them believes they are incapable of achieving anything. After exploring different ideas, they decide to build a rocket and travel to the Moon. He said the film captures their adventurous spirit, unusual ideas and hilarious struggles while building the rocket. From the moment audiences enter the theatres, the movie promises a lively ride filled with comedy and fun situations. He also highlighted the amusing experiences of Shivakumar’s character inside the rocket. Presenter Venu Udugula said he decided to associate with the film after watching it and being impressed by its content. Praising the energetic team, he said everyone had worked on the project with tremendous passion and dedication, much like a family preparing for a daughter’s wedding. He described Shivakumar as a talented actor with a promising future and congratulated producer Praveen Molaka for encouraging an innovative concept. Venu further praised director Srinath for developing a good script, describing the film as an innocent and honest attempt. He said the movie features unconventional, nonsensical comedy presented in a sensible and heartfelt manner. Expressing confidence in the team’s talent, he hoped that Chandrayaan would showcase the abilities of its cast and crew to the film industry, just as India’s Chandrayaan mission demonstrated the country’s capabilities to the world. Lead actor Shivakumar Deekonda admitted that he initially felt nervous as a newcomer but was encouraged by the film’s team and members of the media. He thanked director Srinath Chandrasekhar for allowing him to play the lead role, producer Praveen Molaka for backing the project, and Venu Udugula for guiding the team. Describing the film as the story of four youngsters who bravely take on an ambitious challenge, Shivakumar said the fun is built into the script itself. The sequences involving rocket construction and the troubles his character faces during the journey are expected to entertain audiences. He added that the young team had put in considerable effort and requested viewers to encourage their work by watching the film in theatres. Chief guest and director Sankalp Reddy expressed excitement over the event and extended his best wishes to the entire team. He noted that for many of the people involved, the film marks their first major step in cinema, serving as a launchpad for their careers. He encouraged audiences to watch and support the film, saying that such encouragement would motivate the team to create more good films in the future.
