Vimal Krishna, who made his mark as a director with ‘DJ Tillu’, is going to come before the audience with another quirky entertainer. He directed the film ‘Anumana Pakshi’. This film, starring Rag Mayur as the hero, is going to be completely different in terms of humour, characters, and story. The film is produced by Rajiv Chilaka, Rajesh Jagtiani, and Hirachand Dhand under the presentation of Chilaka Productions. The promotional content released so far has received a wonderful response. ‘Anumana Pakshi’ will hit the theatres on September 25. What care did director Vimal Krishna take to avoid the influence of ‘DJ Tillu’? -Vimal Krishna doesn’t like to follow trends. That’s why he didn’t make a part 2 after making ‘DJ Tillu’.. ‘Anumana Pakshi’ is also very different. Otherwise, it will create an impact like ‘DJ Tillu’.
-After a path-breaking film like ‘DJ Tillu’, Vimal Krishna will find another big hero. But he trusted me. I think I have kept his trust. After watching the first copy, we felt very happy.
-I am confident that it will be a path-breaking film like ‘Anumana Pakshi’, ‘Jaathi Ratnalu’, and ‘DJ Tillu’. ‘DJ Tillu’ and ‘Jaathi Ratnalu’ achieved unexpected successes. I am confident that this film will also achieve unexpected success.
What will the story and genre be like? -It will have multiple genres. Starting with entertainment, moving into the mystery genre and also having a touch of thriller and horror. The movie will be very engaging.
What is the character like? -In this, the hero character has a lot of doubts. He drives everyone around him crazy with his doubts. He goes to Kashmir. The comedy that comes after going there is very new.
What about filming in Kashmir? -Kashmir is always used for a serious situation. This is the first time we are using it for a light-hearted comedy. It is a very beautiful place. The attempt to show such a place in a light-hearted genre is very new.
-This is the first Indian film to be shot there after the Pahalgam incident. People there felt very happy. Kashmir is a beautiful place in the world.
Are there a lot of different costumes in this? -The hero character is very suspicious. When we donate our clothes to someone, he suspects that they will do some kind of magic on us. That’s why he makes clothes from old sarees and curtains that he has at home.
-This movie doesn’t have any such reference. That’s the beauty of this movie. People who think originally don’t have any reference. This also belongs to that category.
What about Ramana Gogula’s song? -Ramana Gogula means Pawan Kalyan garu, all the songs he sang come to mind. It was such a joy to have him sing my first solo song.
They say comedy is difficult to do.. How did you feel? -From the beginning, the audience appreciated me in a comedy zone. ‘Cinema Bandi’, ‘Keeda Kola’, ‘Mitra Mandali’ are all comedy zone films. The audience has been encouraging me because I have a unique comedy timing. I believe that the comedy will work out well in this too. I mostly get comedy characters. Otherwise, I have to do serious roles too.
What is the emotion like in ‘Anumana Pakshi’? -It has more comedy, thrill, and entertainment than emotion. It also has a good message. You should see it on the screen.
What about Sri Charan’s Pakala music? -This is Sri Charan’s 50th film. He is a specialist in thrillers. He has composed excellent entertainment music in this. Whenever music complements acting, it only adds value.
What is the character of the zodiac sign like? -Rashi’s character is very comical. He is a character who is like a caretaker for the souls. He can talk to the souls. Also, Ajay’s character is very new in this. He is a very surprising package in it.
Next movies? -‘Garividi Lakshmi’ is ready for release. I have done a film called ‘Antha Bhraantiyena’. It may come out in November.
